ABOUT

Magaly Sánchez is a Peruvian artist from Lima. She graduated in Fine Art from the Catholic University of Peru.

Her work can be found in private and public collections and has been exhibited in Lima, New York, Toronto and Mexico City in numerous solo and collective exhibitions.

“I have nurtured confidence in myself and in my work for several years. Without trust it would have been impossible to make a path based on artistic expression because art is the purest expression of the human being. It has cost me to come to understand that the relationship with my creation is divine and that all the things I learn in life are aspects that improve the exterior structure of my art, rational elements that, properly used, de-lineate the outer appearance of each painting. At the center of these pieces there is the backbone of my work: direct and profound creation that emanates from my heart.” Magaly Sánchez
