ABOUT
Hanna Elan Yones is an Israeli multidisciplinary sculptor, whose artworks unite the
biological with the arti cial. As the daughter of one of Israel’s rst organic botanists,
she acquired a great appreciation for nature and the environment, which can been
seen in her artistic work. In addition, Hanna Elan Yones broad and diverse academic
background, which includes biology, sculpture, art and law manifests in her eclectic
sculpting. In her practice, she uses traditional materials, like wood, bronze and stone,
but she mainly works with cast polymers and industrial paint. In her work, she creates
futuristic, amorphic and intriguing sculptures reminiscent of terrestrial animals and
sea creatures.
