Art has been part of Deborah Cohen’s life since childhood and her upbringing in an artistic family in France strongly contributed to develop her taste for art in various forms and her preference for bright colors. Her mother was a painter who won the prize of New York in the 1970s and a father worked in Haute Couture for the French fashion house YSL.

An autodidactic artist who emigrated from France to Israel in the last decade, Deborah Cohen has fulfilled in the last years her professional way in the field of art, bringing a sense of joy and positive energy to her colorful mixed-media wall sculptures creations, which offers a playful tribute to childhood and make-believe. Her last works are characterized by the use of acrylic paint painting and 3-D acrylic glass elements.
