Born in Slovakia in 1979, Andrea Koporova started her photography career in 2011.
She prefers taking photos of people, especially women within their living environment. Her work concentrates mainly on expressive portraits and nude with emphasis on featuring emotions and atmosphere. With an eye for light and composition, her distinctive minimalist visual style conveys a sense of depth and of elegant intimacy to her scenes. The majority of her work is done outside with natural light, where she can better capture the beauty and the feelings of a given moment.
Pastel colors pallet with clear and minimalist lines are dominant components in her current work in which fantasy and esthetics are combined to reflect the artist sensitive quest.
Her work has already been published in several books and magazines such as JC & A Elite, Dodho, Vogue.
