Second Skins – Retrato 6Miguel Vallinas Prieto
Photography - Archival Pigment print
'Second Skins' is presented as a possible continuation of the artist previous series 'Skins'. Both investigate the inner reality of mankind, each one in a different way.
'Second Skins' reflects upon the choices we make in our outward appearance, and what they tell the world about our character. It is a series of contrasting portraits that investigates the animal within us, our personality and our way of being. It addresses different characters from an introspective point of view. According to the artist, the idea is to compile a series of "human portraits that reveal the animal within us. Each animal provides the vision of an archetypal character, but I leave the interpretation to the public about the many options that I bring to each image.'
